From the Department of Corrections

– In his recent post entitled “Busman’s Holiday” Nemo absentmindedly claimed to have heard about the book Skippy Dies (which he liked) from the Boy and his Books blog (which he also likes).  We have since learned that he actually heard about the book from the blogger behind So Much to Read (whom he likes a great deal, in part because said blogger once brought him a delicious lunch).  We apologize for the confusion.

– It has come to our attention that your bloggers have neglected their duties lately.  This is due to the fact that a full 33% of your blogging staff (including the Department of Emailing The Other Bloggers To Remind Them When It’s Their Turn To Blog) was at home caring for a sick toddler.  This situation has been corrected by giving the toddler regular doses of amoxicillan and a steady diet of Spongebob.  We apologize for your increased workplace productivity.

– The blogger responsible for the shoddy Photoshop job above has been disciplined.  We apologize for the inconvenience.

  1. Ha! I didn’t even see the first mention. I suppose that’s good, since I would have been confused over the mis-attributed recommendation. I’ll take a mention any day of the week, even if it is a bit incorrect. It always makes me feel warm and fuzzy inside to know that people out there are actually reading the silliness I hammer on my keyboard.

  2. Mmmmm. Amoxicillin. Bubble gum flavor.

  3. All kid medicine- including broccoli- should be bubble gum flavor.
