One down, two to go

A few posts ago, I noted the need for the creation of a few new words, including one that describes the phoney baloney wad of papers office-working smokers need to clutch while taking smoke breaks so that they can  falsely claim later on that they were actually working, and thus not getting over on the non-smoke-break-taking  non-smokers.

Well, you can put down your pencils, everyone.  Nemo has taken care of it in true eco-conscious fashion, having retrofitted an existing word instead of using precious resources to create a new one from scratch.

According to thefreedictionary.com, a “quire” is “a set of 24 or sometimes 25 sheets of paper of the same size and stock”. If it is necessary for an office worker to hold a quire of printed email while smoking in order to evade a charge of goldbricking, wouldn’t that make it a “require”?

I think so, too.  Thanks, Nemo.
