First of Six @ Six

Conditions were SRO for the first of the six evenings with six stellar members of the faculty at Northern Kentucky University, a collaborative effort involving the Senior Library, the Behringer-Crawford Museum, the Carnegie Center for the Arts, and NKU’s Scripps Center for Civic Engagement (more collegial than that we defy you to get). In an oration about oration, Civil War maven Jas. Ramage PhD. filled an hour with nuggets about A. Lincoln, speechgiver. Huge success. So huge, actually, that marketing efforts have ceased, given the seating capacity of the next venue in the rotation, the B-C Mus., which is in Devou Park, where the subject will be quilts. Read about it here. We’re going early to watch the Ohioans become panicky on the twisting and mildly confusing park roads. Always amusing. Although GPS may have taken the fun out of that.
