Exciting ebook reader news you may have missed

– Amazon claims to have sold more Kindles than old timey paper books on Christmas Day.  Sadly, none of them found their way to Castle De Plume.

– At least two new readers are expected to appear at the Consumer Electronics Show this week: the Skiff and the Que.  But where will the books come from?

– And later this month, Apple is expected to introduce their long rumored Tablet.

I’d love to get one of these things, but money is tight right now.  Anyone know of any poorly guarded liquor stores?

  1. News out today says that Cincinnati’s Mayor & City Council will receive Kindles to help reduce paper usage and save money.

  2. I think that’s a great idea. I only wish all the council members agreed with me.

  3. Norm, not clear what you want from the liquor store:

    1. Steal a kindle from the reading devices section;

    2. Steal a fifth since you can’t steal a kindle;

    3. Knock it over.

    Why not try hanging around poorly guarded city halls, and grab one out of the trash. No felonies that way.

  4. I was thinking 3, but 2 will work as well. 1 is out of the question, as most liquor stores only stock the Sony Reader.

  5. The best website to get ebooks and softwares is http://www.ebooksforcents.com

    I have been using it for more than six months and it is amazing!!!
