We at the Stacked web log occasionally toss a little good natured ribbing at our colleagues at the city’s junior library, but it’s all in good fun. The fact is, the Public Library of Cincinnati & Hamilton County is one of the best library systems in the country, and we love those guys. Unfortunately, they rely on state funds to operate, and, well…you pay attention to the news, so you probably know were this is going.
PLCHC is one of those rare public resources that is used by people of ALL types, from the most affluent to the homeless, so they probably deserve a little help from the taxpayer for that reason alone. A missed deadline may endanger the whole idea from the start, but even so, I guess it never hurts to give your county commisoners an earful.
Tell ’em Norm sent you.
