Graphic Novel Discussion Group at the Mercantile

timemachine.gifClick on the image to your left to read a(n) hilarious literary comic drawn by my good friend Edmund Osterman. I’m posting one of Edmund’s comics because he is leading a new discussion series here at the Library about the graphic novel, starting on Saturday, October 13 at 1 p.m. The first book under discussion will be Persepolis: The Story of a Childhood, by Marjane Satrapi.

It’s going to be great. It’s also going to be free and open to everyone. Wrangle a couple of your graphic novel loving friends and come on down. As I said, there is no charge, but please let us know your coming, either by phone (513.621.0717) or e-mail (

SPECIAL BONUS: If- and only if- you vow to come to the discussion group, you may check behind the cut for another great Edmund Osterman (and RJ White) comic.
