Read Stacked, Save $$$

hickenlooper.jpg Blog reading is normally thought to be its own reward. But we here at the Library time forgot believe that readers of Stacked deserve more substantial reward. So for the municipal policy wonks amongst our readership we offer the following: contact the Library (513-621-0717 or mercantileinfo@mercantilelibrary.com), mention Stacked, give your name, and the Library will waive the $5 admission to Denver mayor John Hickenlooper’s October 17th at 7 p.m. appearance here.

We know that you know that Mayor Hickenlooper (right) is sort of a municipal Teddy Roosevelt, happy in his job, not afraid to try things, a micro-brewer, a mensch. So we know that you will want to be here to hear, among other things, about the wonders of Denver’s growing light rail system. You’ll need to contact us quickly. This offer ends once the invitation goes to the post office. (You can still reserve a place after the invitation goes out, but you. will have to fork over the $5 admission )

The enlightened folk at KnowledgeWorks Foundation and Susan and Skip Hickenlooper (yes, we do have a back channel to Denver) are the sponsors of Mayor Hickenlooper’s appearance here.
