Our weekend reading was homework – finish Game Change in time for the last session of Rushing the Bridge, the four plus one session discussion group dreamed up by member, director, and blogger Brendon Cull to satisfy the political jones that sets in about this time in the quadrennial. We funked the Hunter Thompson assignment, but imagine we will once again be waving our hand in the nerdiest possible fashion to be called on since we sucked this book in like a medium Dairy Queen chocolate malt with extra malt. What a pleasure. There will be a bonus session for the class just before the election, and we’re hoping to make up our grade for that Fear and Loathing incomplete.
