Monday: Covers from the Hall Collection

Imagine the hell of a hard-scrabble, Hoosier playground if your name was “Booth Tarkington.”  We can only assume then, that The Plutocrat is about a best-selling author’s revenge on those who mercilessly teased him, including his pranking frat buddies at Purdue and later, Princeton.  I can see him now, standing to toast at a reunion of the Princeton Triangle Club, announcing that he, Booth, has laced the pudding with arsenic.  But I can’t find The Plutocrat on the Internet.  Here, instead, is Monseiur Beaucaire on The Internet Archive.
